Interesting. My "go-to" pipes are my 106,107 Irish Harps. The D-17 gray churchwarden is spectacular, and the stain job has to be seen to be believed. And my recent experience with the LX 11 Christmas pipe has turned me around about pipes with full bends--I plan to get more. I feel like a traitor because I've always been a straight pipe guy.

Sparrowhawk, that’s great. I love to see people become fans of certain types and brands of pipe. We even have guys who only smoke cobs and Grabows. If you love them, then so be it. I was merely trying to answer your (and other poster’s) questions. :puffy:
