Day one was pretty fun. A lot of nice pipes at good prices and loads of samples of blends. If you haven't yet stop by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group table. He's handing out samples of some Lane Limited and Peter Stokkebye blends. Can't wait to head back today!

I finally got to try Black House and got GENEROUS samples of Russ' 2012 show blend and Fusillier's Ration. Bought two pipes and spent more then I was planning.

I wish I could go back to Vegas this year, I had so much fun in September. Penn & Teller put on an amazing show too. You guys that go are going to have to upload a ton of pictures!

Had a great weekend at the show. I got to sample a number of blends and went into sensory overload with all the pipes that were out to see. It was a great weekend enjoying new blends and seeing all the different pipes with good company. Can't wait for next year's show! Sorry, but I was too caught up in the conversations to take pictures.

I also got so busy I didn't take many pictures. I got one shot of the room and one of Russ giving his pairing talk. I can post them later. I'll take a couple of shots of the two pipes I purchased as well.

Man, you west coast guys are slacking! Haha, I would love to see any pics of this show. I called Max at Pipes2Smoke today to ask him about a Northern Briars Lovat that I purchased yesterday. He said it was a pretty good time. I would love to hit this show and the Chicago show in the future.

Didn't take any pictures but had a wonderful time. Bought a huge Romford (Bill Taylor) blast and an exquisite little Bjarne blast. Bought and sampled many tobaccos, spoke to a lot of guys, bought Newcombe's new edition and Schrier's irreverent pipe book, both great reads. I'm going next year for sure. Also the hotel and its' staff are top notch.

Finally returned home from Las Vegas and while there, attended the West Coast Pipe Show. This being my first pipe show, I did not really know what to expect, but it was pretty much as expected, unfortunately I forgot to take any pics. There were rows and rows of pipes available, tobacco to sample and I spent quite a lot of time chatting with some interesting people.
Tried some H&H Blackhouse and I was really impressed with this tobacco and I can see why so many like it. Got some assorted H&H samples including Fusilier's Ration which I am going to try this weekend. Brought back some samples of the above as well as Magnum Opus and Cerebus to try. Highlight of the show for me was when I was talking to one of the tobacco reps for a bit about the samples he gave me. Finally realized that it was Russ Ouellette, a really down to earth guy and we had a good chat about his blends.
Slownumbers39, enjoy P&T. I caught their show last time I was in town and it was a blast!
Unfortunately Penn & Teller cancelled their show the night we had tickets (front row too, lol). We did not find out until we dressed and went to the show and it was all locked up. Ticket Master sent us an email regarding the cancellation, but we were not able to retrieve it until we got back to Canada. We went to Cirque du Soleil @ Ney York New York the next night instead.

That's too bad, it is incredibly rare for them to cancel a show. Did you find out why the show was cancelled?
We caught Mac King's show on Friday afternoon and we got tickets for Absinthe on Saturday, both great shows!
