Don Coscarelli, the Director, did a masterful job with this, the first movie in the series. He makes you ponder whether Mike is deluded by grief into a fantasy involving the death of his parents, and the subsequent involvement of The Tall Man, or if he and his brother, Jody, are experiencing a terrifying reality.

The playing off of these two possibilities makes the storyline somewhat dreamlike (or nightmarish) and, hence, possibly hard to follow. Mr. Coscarelli leaves it to the viewer to determine which possibility is correct.

ive been having a good time with this thread watching movies i hadnt seen. i just watched bloody valentine, original.

I like horror movies a lot and love movies in general. i dont know how i never heard of this one. It was really campy and enjoyable. loved it

Bored this morning I watched a very interesting movie. Its called "Together". Its well worth watching if you're into horror.
