I tried another Chicory coffee about 4 years ago out of curiosity. It has a flavor that reminds me a little bit of wood or nuts. I like it, and find it nice for the sake of variety. I can't recall the name, and I'm guessing I got it at a regular grocery store. It may have been one of the freeze-dried "bricks" of coffee that grocery stores stack. But I remember that it was better with milk. I probably made it using the "Moka Pot".
Sometime I want to make sweet Vietnamese-style metal-filter coffee. They often use those French-style coffee varieties, like from those kinds of cans. Their cuisine is influenced by French cooking due to their colonial period.
