apparently they were also in the film 'it's pat' - hated that one. What did they seem high on?
I liked Cake back in the late 90's - then they sold out and the music seemed like it became secondary. Going the Distance is a great example of an well written original rock song.I never heard of them until today. I watched a couple of You Tubes and they seem similar to the band CAKE. I did enjoy the Ocean Man video with the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
oh woman like ween. I've been with more then a few that do. Ween is great. They're one of the few bands that can flip through genres with so much ease. And their sarcasm is so PA which I think is the most sarcastic state in the unionFirst, let me commend your parenting!? Yes, some of the lyrics are uh, brutally honest and disturbing but a lot of the albums have less extreme songs, some of which you might enjoy, like on their sea shanty album The Mollusk. They actually have a large following among the jam band crowd... My girlfriend loathes them, I'm really not sure if any women like them? The song below to me is better than anything The Pogues ever wrote...
man oh man. That's not picky it's just deranged except for the musical and Acapello that stuff can go away oh I won't even admit that new country exists either though.I used to say that I loved all music... then I realized that I hate musicals of any sort, new country, a Capello anything, music that I can't hear the words, music without words, some raps, and pretty much anything that relies on a piano or keyboard... or anything recorded in the 80's. There are more, but I don't want to come across as picky.
I had one CAKE CD in my car. I haven't listened to it in a long time. One of my favorite songs was the 'Stick Shifts and Safety Belts'. I was really something cruising around listening to that song, the song mentions driving a Malibu and I was driving a Malibu at the time.Going the Distance is a great example of an well written original rock song.

my High school rock band once played that song to an audience of petrified parents and geezers. It was awesome.
Ha ha. Would love to see a video.
'oo was that girl? That pretty young thing?the venue owner had a “talk” with us, afterwards. My dad thought it was hilarious and would shout out “Blarney Stone!” Whenever we played a show. Get off my arse, ya wee bitty fook.
pork roll is just horrible. I genuine hate that stuff. It makes me feel like a vegetarian every time I see that I think some poor cow or deer or what ever pork is made from died for that. I know pork is made out of pig and that makes it worse because everything else that is made from pig is really good. Chops, bacon, ham, and literally anything else with pork. It's to pig products what oatmeal raisin is to cookies.Well, Bucks County is essentially Jersey and pork roll is from Trenton.
