Very interesting video. I've never had the opportunity to try Rouxgaroux, but will try to buy some if it does come available again in April.

Glad to see/hear this video is well-received.

I also hope it helps ease the frustrations and unreasonable expectations that sometimes get the better of us. A blend as notorious and seldom-released as this, with its days now clearly numbered, is of course going to sell very quickly. It's bad form to call the shop and whine.

As a young man I worked in a box office in Chicago and regularly dealt with similar calls from upset consumers wanting tickets to sold out concerts. It's a terribly awkward and painfully pointless situation to be in. Demand is greater than supply, simple as that. It's embarrassing for a grown adult to expect someone else to be their punching bag in these situations.

Have you ever wondered from where the term “box office” originated?

In Elizabethan England, theater workers stood in front of the entrance holding clay boxes with a slot through which theater goers would drop a penny before entering.

The boxes were then taken to the theater office where they were broken open and the contents were counted. Hence the term, box office.

Seems terribly inefficient, and a bizarre way to waste perfectly good clay. Not to mention how it would hurt the feelings of the clayworker who constructed them. Hopefully they were shielded from the end result...that's some nasty PTSD waiting to happen!

#558 is in my top 3 of all time, and yes it is done. All the cakes are. They’re just selling through what they’ve got in inventory, and that’s the end of that. They said they have quite a bit on hand, but It’s hard to say what that means for availability.

That being said, WC will make new things that’ll probably be great too. Change is the only constant, and so on…
