When I open a tin of tobacco, I transfer it to a mason jar until I’m done. As jars empty, do you gentlemen wash and sanitize the jars between tobaccos or just load the next tin in? And let’s say they are different tobaccos. Thanks.

I always wash my Ball glass mason jars between different tobaccos, even though they are all aromatics.
I run mine through the dishwasher between fillings. Figure that cleans and sanitizes.
I typically smoke VA’s so they don’t leave much behind. I wipe out the jar thoroughly with paper towels until I don’t see any remnant crumbs (same with sealing portion of the 2-piece lid). If it was an aromatic or something with enough moisture that I felt I was trying to remove a film or residue, I’d wash and rinse with soap and water.
I always wash them with dishsoap before reuse, just because.
I only refill with the same blend without washing. Even a hint of moisture in the jar can encourage mold.
I stick them in the dishwasher.
I don’t wash before refilling. I refill with the same blend or genre. I replace the lid if the rubber seal is getting gunked up with tobacco residue, which is rare since I am careful to keep tobacco off from the seal.

I only wash the lids if it is gunked up or has a strong aroma. Otherwise just wipe it out. Like Embers said cleaning them is more of a health risk or risk to the tobaccos' integrity more then just leaving them alone.
I do wash the ones I keep nasal snuff in since they're more aromatic then any pipe tobacco I have encountered.

I just wipe out. I also have to hide my empties due to the sister hijacking them for jams/jellies/preserves.
Wash them in the dishwasher then stick them in the oven at 175 until they get to 150 degrees. Then put the new tobacco in. Someone had shared that info before, I use it all the time and it’s been great. New lids each time for me though.
Like @d4k23 I use new lids every time. I’ve never owned a dishwasher so I use hot water and dish soap to clean a jar after it is empty.

LOL,,, big difference between jams and ‘baccy!!
I wash them and switch out the lid and ring. You can by replacements for those at little cost.
I always do, but ymmv. I suppose it depends on how often you pick your nose between taking pinches from the jar...

If I'm putting another portion of the exact same blend in the jar, I don't wash it. Other than that, you bet your kiester I do!
