I meant to add "around here." My first culture shock was visiting Arizona. You could buy liquor anywhere, but you couldn't smoke anywhere, and packs were $13. Which is the exact opposite of here. Here, you can still smoke in restaurants and bars... unless the company or corporation deems against it. And, you can still buy cigarettes for less than $5. But, if you even smell like alcohol, the cops will beat you down. Drinkers are just not tolerated in public or outside your house.hahah you obviously have never been to Florida

Hell, if your even drunk in a bar, the bar calls the cops on you.
You have ABC liquor stores? I thought those were only in Florida, kind of cool they started right after prohibition and are still around and thriving as a family owned business.I have no idea what gas station liquor is. ABC Stands for Alcoholic Beverage Control. All employees are government employees, and have to pass civil service exams. They are like Postmasters in a way. In states that allows sales outside of ABC, they still have to have the spirits and beverages go through ABC control before being released to the stores. In Alabama, they will never release liquor sales outside of government control. Prohibition worked damned well in Baptist controlled Alabama, because the majority still do not see alcohol as a "moral" thing to do. Actually, when I was in high school there were still only a few counties that allowed liquor sales in the state. Bootleggers were tolerated, because the served a immoral aspect of the community and kept them subdued. Even talking about alcohol openly in public gives me a willies. You have ABC liquor stores? The original ABC Fine Wine & Spirits location opened as a bar and package store in 1936 with the namesake of our founder. Jack Holloway’s Friendly Neighborhood Bar poured its first glass at the corner of North Orange Avenue and Wall Street in downtown Orlando more than 85 years ago. Prohibition had recently ended and Mr. Holloway, a charismatic entrepreneur, saw a big opportunity in the booming liquor business.
Years later, he changed the name to ABC Liquors to make sure it would always be first in the phone book. Longtime-Florida residents remember ABC’s revolving bars and lounges which the company eventually phased out in order to focus on the retail experience we provide guests today. As our stores evolved and became more contemporary, we changed the name to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. We serve millions of guests in stores, online and through our concierge service for weddings, corporate events and large parties. We remain one of the largest family-owned and operated alcohol beverage companies in the country.
ABC currently has more than 123 stores from the Florida Panhandle to Miami and several more under construction. We have always been family owned and operated. Mr. Holloway’s grandsons Charles Bailes III (Chairman and CEO) and Jess Bailes (Executive Vice President) have led the business since 1994. Several other family members and relatives serve in executive leadership roles, store operations and on the Board of Directors. We currently employ more than 1,500 dedicated team members throughout Florida. There are multiple generations of other families who have also made careers at ABC.
AGreed this 100% is topped . There is absolutely no denying it.This sounded like an interesting blend, but don't they all ? Marketing departments are very good at what they do. I'm not one for toppings, hate them in fact, so I immediately knew I was in trouble when I cracked the tin. Still, I forged on, wanting to give the blend a chance. After maybe ten bowls I couldn't take it anymore. I'm sorry, but this is obviously topped, despite no mention of it in the copy. If Mr. Reeves will swear to the contrary, then he has an unrivaled stash of tobacco in those C&D warehouses.
I pulled out that jar of it I stashed a few months ago and the smell is still just SO strong. I don’t even care to light a bowl and try it out.A

Whether the changes the recipe at some point in time, accidentally topped some of them, whatever . The topped ones are unsmokeable just gross
So... has anyone gotten any response from Jeremy? Did anyone even bother to ask
Ha I had no idea he was on this site/boardCalling @jeremyreeves or, you could just PM him here also. Also, if you emailed C&D from their website, he would most likely respond. He is good about responding. Not sure if he will respond to the thread, but that would be how you would get a forum member's attention in a thread that they haven't been in yet.
Well, I know from my own experience, it can be annoying to get dragged into a thread. But, maybe Jeremy is cooler than me.Ha I had no idea he was on this site/board
lets see if @jeremyreeves answers here first
That's the literal understatement of the century"added sweetness and a booziness".
