Witch, thank you for the data point. I’ll probably dive into that bag some day and divide it up into much smaller mylar bags. Today I found a 4 oz jar of this stuff that I must have pulled out before I bagged it. Stoked a bowl in a GBD Rhodesian and it was very, very enjoyable. FWIW, I bought this big pile o’ 5100 after reading a thread here where folks said it aged very well. The bag was a full 5 pounds when I got it from a B&M who sold it cheap because “it’s a few years old”. I gave some away and sealed up the rest.
Timt, I fell in live with the uniqueness of McClelland early on, and figured that they wouldn’t go on forever. So I put a little aside.

Good for you. I managed to grab 8 or 10 tins of 40th Anniversary and a half pound of 5100 but that's it. So many times I had a shopping cart full of different McClelland blends to try and didn't pull the trigger - I was still trying to resist my TAD. Silly I know.
