I've been wanting a meer,

I ain't got one.
I'd love to have a properly built and engineered example like Walt's,

but that's alotta coin.
I was thinking about an SMS...

...anybody here got quality input on SMS?
I just want a simple straight billiard.
Anyway,

Walt really knocked it outta the park with this series,

truly incredible!

I didn't see a price. How much coin are we talking about? Lovely pipes, by the way.
I think they've all been spoken for.
I know that they're outta my ballpark though, sadly. :crying:
I think it will be a limited series?
I think that it's difficult to obtain raw high-quality meerschaum or something?
I really dig the way he's been thinking outside of the box,

his suede blast,

now the meers,

and that morta billiard is somethin' else too!

Technically, it's impossible to buy block meerschaum from Turkey. I doubt we'll see many more of these considering the back channels Mr. Cannoy had to navigate in order to get the raw material.

It's not just making a fabulous pipe, but you top it off with that incredible case- it's a bargain at any price!

Yep, looks like both he and the meers will be in Chicago.

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments. Yes, I will be at the Chicago show. I have a table for the main show if I have anything to put on it by then, and I will be bringing at least one meerschaum pipe, but I'm shooting for three.

Although I have never smoked pipes other than briar, you can clearly see it would smoke very differently. I suppose 'til I've tried one I just won't know what I'm missing.
With all the incredible pipes I've seen in this forum, I'm starting to think I better get rich quick, or I'm never gonna live to own something of this caliber.
I'm wondering what the wife would say if I suggested a second mortgage

Great looking pipe, nicely done Walt.
In regards to SMS Meer's, I own one and would never buy another. Nothing wrong with the meer itself, but the stem is the most God awful thing I have ever put in my mouth. The stem is so freaking rounded that I cannot even clench it just to light the damn thing.
Here is my SMS. It is also so long that I have to use Churchwarden pipe cleaners on it. It is unwieldy as hell and I bought it early on in my pipe smoking so I had no clue what I was doing.
