Nothing personal, but you’d have been better off just tossing that android before you bought it.
On the past 13 years I've only owned 3 phones and they were all androids. The one I currently have was $79 and I've had it since the summer of 2020. It can point and shoot photos like this and does everything I need a phone to do.

My oldest daughter's first phone was an IPHONE 6. It crashed the first week she had it so after the expense of such technological garbage, no thank you.

Looking back, I can only think of a Nording hunter from like 10 years ago that I miss.

My one big regret (besides getting even more McClelland before they quit) was not buying a Trevor Talbert pipe that looked like the Alien from Aliens in a custom rest that also resembled an Alien ship. It was like 2014, I think and it was $1600. I just couldn't justify the expense as a single dad on a military check. But I often think of that pipe. It was so cool and there was never another like it.

Vienna Meerschaum makes some nice briar ones. Here's one that I had.

You sound like you are treating them like the plastic wrappers that plague the modern world....
For many of us here, the pipe is simply a tool. Maintain it it as you would your other tools. Get rid of them, into the bin, if they won't perform in a satisfactory manner. I smoke 'em, not revere them. I have zero interest in cleaning, refurbishing pipes. And, even less interest in advertising, trips to the post office and such. Different strokes I guess. Unwanted pipes go to the landfill, ultimately, creating new land for homes and such. That's my wee contribution to society. rotf

I received a few gifts, and thoroughly enjoy them.
I’ve given (and will give more), and thoroughly enjoy that too.
I’ll not sell/give a pipe that doesn’t smoke well.
Printing a label and putting it in my mailbox is no inconvenience compared to the enjoyment of passing along the experience to another.

I've sold a lot of great pipes, but zero regrets.
Starting in 2012, I had a "Holy Grail" list of 20 pipe shapes I wanted to find. It took 7-8 years, but I eventually completed that list. After a while, I realized some shapes didn't suit me to smoke, so they were sold.
Sometimes, a particular shape was in such good condition, I was afraid to smoke it. Those were sold and I found that I got more enjoyment smoking the piece more that wasn't perfect.
They either didn't work for me, or the sold pipe was a means to an end (typically a higher grade example).

Al, I remember you listing your GBD 1937 (chubby) Rhodesian.
I let that one slip because -
1) I didn't have the money for it at the time
2) I was collecting Bulldogs, but not Rhodesians

Still regretting it some years later

Ok, I might have a tinge of regret on that one....
I like smaller pipes, that one was a little too diminutive. But gorgeous.

I was looking at my pipe spreadsheet a few nights ago. Closing in on 500 pipes (currently own 60). The combined purchase/sold costs are nearing six figures. But, pipe sales have paid for:
- wheels/tires for my MGB
- several good wristwatches (the pipe below helped fund my Doxa purchase)
- Gravel bike
- Kayak
- Wife's 40th anniversary ring
So, all good things of value to me.
