Sorry to throw us slightly off the subject, but has anyone had W.O. Larsen's 1864 Perfect Mixture? It sounds very nice, according to the reviews... I'd love to hear an opinion or two.
As for the 2011, I'm interested to see what everyone has to say!
1864 is a nutty burly with a chocolete ,vanilla and honey undertones . The virginas are of good quality . The flavoring is light and lets the tobacco come to the front . Not too gooey as some of Larsons other stuff tends to be . There is also some cavendish to complete the blend . I also have a tin of the signiture but have not opened it yet .
I think the 2011 was great! I dont have my tasting notes in front of me but I remember some citrus and honey I do believe one thing I remember is it was really good.
alright, just had my first half bowl of 2011, and i must say the few puffs that i did get in, stupid wind, were amazing. i'll post later when i get a chance to smoke indoors.
