I’m not sure these are not in my wheel house. And I thought Sven Knudsen did blasts in this shape? I not sure. Sorry hopefully someone else will have a better answer.

Most info on WO Larsen's is either entirely factious or mostly off scope with just a hint of the truth. True, many carvers of note worked there and we all hope for a hidden gem from an Iversson, Chonowitsch, Nord or other famous carver. But most of them worked there in the 60's and the 70's when they were in their 20's. They were stoned for the majority of their time there and Ole, while he could tell they would be good one day, realized they were just producing crap. So he farmed out most of the production to the Hammond Indiana Pipe and Figure Company. Their work was good enough but they were using briar farmed from around the Indiana Dunes, idyllically located near the Burns Harbor port and U. S. Steel Midwest Plant so the pipes taste of slag and ship diesel after the bowl coating burns off. Sell 'em on ebay and cut your losses!

Probably the only one in Alaska too.
I don’t know if he’s still alive but there was a big time Larsen pipe collector named Gary Humphries (sp?) who lived in Alaska.
As far as who carved your pipe, Tonni Nielsen and Teddy Knutsen are former Larsen carvers who I’ve seen ID Larsen pipes at shows before.

Good to know. I’ll see if I can find him! Did you know him from an online forum?

The 77 "Copenhagen" Larsen is from the first era (1960s). That much I know, having learned that fact from @dmcmtk. That is the earliest era and the era I favor. Surprisingly, Larsen's often sell for under $100 on Ebay (even first eras). $50 a pop is an excellent deal for a Larsen from any era, if they are in decent shape. Sorry, that's all I can offer...
