Bringing up a GLP Virginia is interesting, as he is not known for his work with the brightleaf. But, Union Square is pretty good if you can get a tin with more than five years on it, but new... tastes like it's still green, ammonia-y and harsh on the throat. I blame those C&D Virginias. But, if you have the patience, even some of the C&D Virginias turn great if left to rot age long enough before you pop the tin. But, try them, compare them, but I think that you'll find them to be harsher than most other Virginias by other companies. Or, just buy them and set on them for ten years. ::
