Smokingpipes.com is, I think, the best source for quality estate (used) pipes.

However, if once you've got a pipe or two, try ebay. It can be a gamble, but I've gotten most of my collection through it. However, I've also gotten a pipe that I'm afraid to smoke, even after my most recent work at cleaning it, because the ghosting is so bad that I can't even describe it!

You know, I can't identify what the ghost was originally. It seems to change with my every attempt to kill it...a morphing stench! Maybe I should submit the pipe to science for dissection lol.
