We're re-watching "NYPD Blue (1993-2005). The odd, jerky camera scene opening shots are always interesting, and for a second or two, highlight iconic city locations. Last week, I noticed CBGB's, must have been just before they closed.
Today, (in Season 4), I noticed Village Cigars, on Christopher and 7th Avenue (Greenwich Village) Apparently it has an interesting history.
Its not clear if it is still open.
