Am considering a Viking pipe, but cannot find any comments on them through the search feature. Wondering if anyone had any comments? Thanks!

Bjarne Viking? Love them. Mine is one of my favorite smokers and was the brand I picked when buying a buddy a new pipe to get him in the game. :)

Not Dr Grabow. Viking (the newest ones), which may or may not mean Bjarne Viking. Understand that Bjarne died in 2008ish and that others took over the line. The ones that Cup o Joe carries. Did end up finding a comment here through searching on the web (but not on the search engine here) which said that they may have to be redrilled for good draw. But can't find much else.

Troutface, that certainly is a handsome pipe. Any way to fix the "pass the pipe cleaner" problem?

The airway is so far off center that I haven't even made an attempt yet. I only paid $20 for it as an estate so I may as well experiment.

I have a Bjarne Viking Classic (slightly) bent apple, and I love it! Grain is beautiful, I can pass a pipe cleaner through it. Smokes great

Mine is slightly missdrilled but it is a consistent good smoker.

I have a Bjarne Viking Denver Rhodesian and it is one of my best smoking pipes.
Well worth the $56 I paid for it at Pipes $ Cigars dot com.

My first two pipes were Viking Classics -

A bent apple sitter,

(
and a small churchwarden,
Both smoke reasonably well, though they gurgle from time to time, The sitter won't pass a pipe cleaner, and I did enlarge the draft hole on both pipes - but I love 'em. Being of Swedish ancestry may be a contributing factor...
