I missed this thread when it hit. I'm saddened by this news, but I do know the tough brother was fighting for a while. I'm glad he's got some rest from his discomfort. I can't help but smile at all the times we poked him and prodded him over his very extensive collection. There's not a single pipe the man owned that I wouldn't be proud to hold myself. He was a good man, from what I knew of him and I'm happy to have been able to hat with him a few times and bond over similar pipes we shared. However briefly I knew him, I miss him still. It's amazing how close a bond between people can be over shared interests, even having never met one another.
