i also stoped at a smoke shop on center road, which is by flint michigan.the shop was right by the exit from center road to i-69. they had a small selection of pipe tobacco blends in glass jars, possibly their own blends, i dont know for sure. they had a vanilla custard that smelled amazing and was highly recommended to me by a customer there, but had to stop myself as i had already spent almost $100 today, and working at mcdonalds isnt exactly a high paying job. but perhaps ill stop by on my next trip to pauls, after all i gotta go there next month to get my free ounce of tobacco

And practice in the mirror pointing the stem of your pipe at people , to emphasize a particularly important point in your line of bullshit.
 I have had a lot of practice doing this, portascat. I consider myself a gifted amateur/newly professional pipe pointer.
In all seriousness, those are some nice scores, buddy. Remember to pinch some of that black cavendish between your fingers and test the moistness. If you squeeze it and it sticks to your fingers, you should probably open the bag up and let it dry for a little bit before smoking it. This will greatly increase the quality of your smoke. Congratulations on joining our fine circle, and remember that patience and perseverence are well rewarded. Dont get discouraged no matter what.

What I would do, as I said, is open up the bag and let it dry. How long you let it dry is going to depend a lot on the climate that you live in. If the air outside is pretty humid, you might have to let it sit open as much as 24 hours. If the air is dry outside, pop the bag open before you go to bed and check it out in the morning. In all honesty, you may not even need to let it dry that long if the air outside is really dry. Maybe 4-5 hours, just check periodically and keep doing the pinch test.

Nice looking pipe you picked up, buddy. Congrats.
I'm sure it's just the picture, but I'm highly amused by the fact that the Arrowhead tobacco looks like Red Pepper Flakes

Just looked up the weather in your area and it says that as of the 14th, the humidity in your area is about 59%. I say leave it open overnight. In my experience, there is no such thing as drying a black cavendish blend too much. The air time actually ages the tobacco and starts to alter the leaf on a molecular and chemical level, mellowing the tobacco considerably and leaving you with a better smoke. Also, you may find that you dont get nearly as obsessive about tobacco humidity as I do. If my tobacco feels off in the slightest way, at least to me, it affects the smokability. Just keep an open mind. Your case of OCD might not be nearly as big as mine. :puffy:

I;m different. I'm in texas where it's hot as hell 80% of the time and in the other 20% there is wind, ice storms, brutal storms with hail, sleet and a gale force prairie wind that will slice through your winter clothes like a samurai sword through a neck made of warm butter.
I just tell the pipes and baccy, "You're in Texas, now. If yer nuts haven't dropped yet they will by the end of this smoke. There will be fire and tamping and if you get squirrelly on me, more fire. Understood?"
Before they can answer they've been stuffed puffed.

:laughat: Again, you make me chuckle baron. Maybe I am just more prone to tongue bite than some other folks. Or maybe its just the OCD I have about pipes and tobaccos...Yep, pretty sure its the OCD.

i read more on the card, you have to buy on of their cayuga pipes to get it. also if you buy 12 cayuga pipes at $32.50 or more(and trust me you will have no problem with that), you get the 13th for free. the find the average price of the 12 pipes you bought and thats the value of youre free pipe

I hear you Bubba, this has been a good read for sure. As for the Rep thing, I see it's not showing any more, what's up with that?
