It is a little too "eccentric" for me. I guess I'm just a conservative type. I have also found that I don't really like it when I can't see the glowing ember.
But I am curious to hear from someone who smokes one.

Reminds me of the briar cigar that someone posted here, but with a bit more style. Now if they stuck a gold nib on one end and a piston filler at the other, I would most definitely be interested!

I've got one of the original briar zepellins. It smokes just fine but it requires some amount of fussing around to load and light. So it's not something I'm inclined to put in the rotation. It's an interesting pipe to have my collection though. I'm not sure I'd pay $245.00 for a plastic one.
