Luxury bullseye flake gets my vote here, I like it better than Escudo due to the little cavendish in the center

Well said, Witchofthehollow. PS/LBF is absolutely sublime with just a few yrs age.

LBF was my first VaPer, and still one of my favorites. LNF is OK, I have five pounds of it also. But I prefer LTF, though not a VaPer.

I like LBF as well as LNF better than Escudo. To me Escudo is too bland.

My first VaPer was H&H Viprati. Very tasty.
My second was LBF. I enjoy it also, but one must work a bit harder to get all the flavors. I jarred up 3/4 of a pound and put the rest in a tin, which I smoke occasionally. Just the two months in the open tin have added to it a bit, so I can't wait for the aged version.
If you REALLY want a light Perique, get some Orlik Gloden Sliced. The perique is so light, it's often hard to find.
My most recent pleasant surprise for VaPer was Russ Oulette's Perique Blend SV-23. Smooth and somewhat sweet and capable of an all day smoke.

Just guessing, but it seems like Virginia/Perique blends are second only to the many iterations of English and similar (Balkan, American-English with burley, etc.) in popularity in the premium blends. That would be other than OTC, tub, and bag tobaccos. That's why there are so many, many Va/Pers, including staunch old standards and many newer blends. I would guess there are well into the hundreds marketed in the U.S.

I'll throw in Davidoff Flake Medallions. Love the stuff.
I only recently tried this for the first time myself. I think it is going to quickly become one of my favorites. So much better than escudo!!!

During this recent bilk sale at P&C, I got some H&H AJ's VaPer.
I'm smoking my second bowl of it now.
Sweet red Virginia, unflavored black cavendish and a lightly peppery perique.
Nicely done and I'll add it to your list.
