Nope.
Not gonna do it.
I only want enough interest in it to keep up production, not enough to limit availability...
It's one that's not listed.
And I like several that have been named as well.

McC 2015 was the best. Boy do I wish I could stock up on that anymore.

I also like the darker VaPers. Salty Dogs gets mentioned a lot -- it costs more than it should, but it's really good.

One that does not get mentioned often is McConnell Black Flake. It's actually a brown flake with perique and I find it quite rich.

I'm not a big perique fan but:

D&R TAPS VIP was nice (discontinued)
Dorchester (I don't know if it's changed since 2019)
C&D First Responders (which I'm currently smoking from 2018 or 19 and is very good and available).

Fillmore- it’s benefits from some age. I’ve had both fresh and aged and by far aged just had an oomph to it. The perique tends to be stronger IMO. On the stronger side and my favorite by far …… just has that vintage flavor to it somehow.

Stratford- on the border of being a straight VA blend it just sort of sprinkles in the perique. I’ve had the luxury of obtaining two tins of the initial 2003 release that I acquired a few years ago. While I didn’t care for the thicker ribbon cut it was definitely a treat. I find that the newer thinner ribbon cut is closer to a shag which I prefer. All in all a very good intro do Va/Per

Escudo - as if I need to say anything that already hast been said. Flavor profile is exactly what you’d expect a premium Va/per to be. An all day smoke if you ask me.

Only three for me. I don’t really smoke anything else if I’m grabbing a Va/Per.

...still on the hunt for others.
oh, in our little iranian village, there was a tobacco farm nearby. As kids we used to steal there beautiful aromatic leathery leaves from the villagers racks as they were being dried outside their barns. I just remember incredible fruit and berry aroma with slight smell of Frankincense. we would hid them somewhere and once dried we would smoke them in grandpa's clay pipes. ahh, I wish i knew what type of leaf that was, or what kind of tobacco. they used them for RYO, or Hookah. that sweet after taste. we were only 13-15 and this was our naughty, secret activity in that village.

Need to try CRF with Perique and Bayou Morning Flake. The tins are waiting in wings to be opened.
Need to add HU Louisiana Broken. HU has some very good VaPers.

In no particular order:
Escudo
Peterson Elizabeth Mixture
Rattray's Old Gowrie
St James Flake
Dunhill/Peterson Deluxe Navy Roll

I would add Orlik as it is technically a VaPer but the amount of Perique is so slight that I think of it as a VA.
