I've been real fond of Virginia and Virginia/Perique blends lately, and was looking for suggestions. I currently have and enjoy Escudo, H&H Virginia Spice, H&H Anniversary Kake, H&H AJ's VA/PER, and McClelland Matured Virginia 25.

Is Haddo's a proper Va/Per? I've never thought of it as such, but good it is.
What about the usual suspects? Orlik, PS flakes, Dunhill Flake?
McClelland 2015 Virginia and Perique is a winner winner as well.

I started typing and the list was too long. I'll cut to the chase... Samuel Gawith St. James Flake, Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake, Capstan Flake Blue, Dunhill Flake, and GLP Fillmore.

Vegas Baby!!!
C&D Bayou Morning is dirt cheap in bulk and quite tangy.....delicious.
Solani 633, St. James, P.S. Luxury Navy, P.S. Bullseye and Newminster 400.

You can do worse than the McClelland's Mature Virginia line. I've smoked 3 out of the 4, and have enjoyed them - especially Nos 22 & 27.

DNR, Solani 633, Motzek Strang (va/per/bur), and St James.... and these are a few of my favorite things! When the dog bites, when the bee stings

When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad

Here are some of the blends I like;
VA's
fresh citrus, cider, hay, grass-

Butera's Golden Cake, MVF
dried citrus, milk chocolate, malt, bread-

BBF, Old Gowrie

fig, plum, molasses, brown bread (you get the picture)-

FVF
Va-per
-ugh, running out of time-
Briefly,
St James flake get's you a bit of bittersweet cocoa, malty, brown bread, with jammy, figgy stone fruits and a wee kiss of fermented silage.
While Telegraph Hill is less savory, brighter in taste with more of a citrus presence in the Va's and a briney presence from he perique.
All I have time for though I would love to post more expansively. I hope you'll post back, OP, with your discoveries.
