Surprised a) they didn’t bother taping over the hole it something, and b) that chunk o’baccy is still there!

It sucks, but glad it turned up. We can gripe and stamp our feet all we want, but I for one am amazed how many parcels (some vendors are better than others) go out and come in every day across this nation/world, the vast majority without incident.
Any lucky lottery winner that has been born and raised in a first world country should thank whatever they believe in for their good fortune, it could be so much worse!
Amen!

This is true. It can also be true that, while lucky, I can feel a great amount of vexation when my box circled one city in constant motion for 8 days yet hasn't moved at all since I initiated my intercept.

Also, I dreaded whether or not I would be getting my box back at all, and now the condition it will be in if I ever do get it back had compounded that dread. lol

I once shipped a valuable business parcel from the US to England.
I cant recall how many countries it went to before arriving.

I guess its a small island and easy to miss?

I dont think all of that was USPS's fault.

Oh it sucks when it happens, for sure!
We can wax theologically and try to answer why bad things happen to good people, but Murphy will always insure that sh*t happens.

I’m still impressed that the loose SPC plug made it home to Mark in that train wreck of a package 😉
