Yup. Just the stem
Vulcanite stems can oxidise internally and it can be hard work getting rid of internal oxidation.

Hot water is fine with the bowl.
Just take the pipe apart prior to running water through the bowl

Yep, though I personally won't use water on a stummel. Excluding meerschaum, I prefer to disassemble pipes immediately after smoking and clean them with paper towels, pipe cleaners and Qtips.

Acrylic should be ok though I’d think
