A friend just found this at a second hand store and asked me if I knew anything about it or it’s worth. Any ideas?

It appears to still be sealed in the original packaging.

I’d say the tobacco is not smokable but as a collectible from a Ww2 standpoint I’d say like $20-$50?
there should be some type of tax stamp on it that with some research will date the tobacco.
also check the US address (if given) and if it has no zip code it could be that old.

Yup looks correct!

To be clear this was purchased, not military issued tobacco. But definitely seems to be from the period!
