I prefer Jewish hurling. We are notorious for not being able to hold our alcohol, so...Irish Hurling is a unique sport. They've got a GAA sanctioned team here near Cleveland at one of the Irish Clubs. It's a minor thing in the Midwest Irish-American communities, but HUGE (an understatement) in Ireland.

I watched last year's match on YouTube and holy crap that is something else. The ball seems more of an annoyance than an object of playCalcio Storico. Played in Florence Italy since the Renaissance. Like a prison riot with a ball being tossed around.

I saw some matches in Miami eons ago. It's very exciting, even not betting. The active arms on those guys is about twice the size of the non-basket arm.I always thought Jai Alai looked neat. Never seen it played in person, or a full match, just short clips on TV and movies.
