Irish Hurling is a unique sport. They've got a GAA sanctioned team here near Cleveland at one of the Irish Clubs. It's a minor thing in the Midwest Irish-American communities, but HUGE (an understatement) in Ireland.

I watched last year's match on YouTube and holy crap that is something else. The ball seems more of an annoyance than an object of play

I saw some matches in Miami eons ago. It's very exciting, even not betting. The active arms on those guys is about twice the size of the non-basket arm.
