Someone just listed an unsmoked, Sasieni Four Dot Natural, Cumberland shape. A good BIN and offer. I don't see this shape very often. Someone grab this and save me from myself.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252862265026

Not my shape, so I can resist.
This shot makes me thinl unsmoked. That factory ring from the bit on the bottom looks untouched. (identical to the interior of my unsmoked Ashford).

I see what you mean about the ring. I had hoped to see the cross-hatch tooling marks inside the bowl, but I buy your case.

Smokingpipes.com had one at some point: https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/estate/england/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=176044
I enjoyed their discussion of the place name and how it faded from the administrative landscape of England five years before the real Sasieni also faded away.

I wondered about the Cumberland name, as I hadn't heard of that town

Cumberland is an ancient county in the most North west of England and bordering on Scotland. The county is now called Cumbria although many English people still call it Cumberland.
