Very nice ! I wish my father in law smoked and restored pipes!! Your son in law is a lucky man.

The pipe I ordered late Thursday nite arrived safely on Saturday. The box was packed properly.
Thanks again Al for telling me about McCranie's. I spoke with Todd on the phone on the 24th and he was very helpful.

ssjones, as father of the bride it is your responsibility to be constricted with doubts about your future son-in-law,

who, let's say, is a fine young man totally in love with and devoted to your daughter, who will turn out to be an ideal

husband and perhaps father. But the father of the bride must always remain to be convinced. Without that, being

a young bridegroom is a playing field without a goal. As for the pipe, I just smoked some Lane's Burley Without

Bite in a lightweight Johs lovat, straight saddle stem, partially rusticated. What a lovely combination. The lovat is

a handsome and often overlooked pipe. Your son-in-law will be honored, I think, whether he is a constant smoker

or not. Every man needs a pipe, at least in a drawer. (If not on a rack and subject to constant worship as mine are.)
