Bite in a lightweight Johs lovat, straight saddle stem, partially rusticated. What a lovely combination. The lovat is
a handsome and often overlooked pipe. Your son-in-law will be honored, I think, whether he is a constant smoker
or not. Every man needs a pipe, at least in a drawer. (If not on a rack and subject to constant worship as mine are.)
