Hello everyone. I'm Kevin. I am another disgruntled sports fan from the Buffalo, NY area. I started smoking a pipe about 2 months ago. Like a lot of others, I usually smoke cigars but wanted to venture out and try something new. I am lucky enough to have 4 tobacconists within a 35 minute drive from my house. The closest one being about 5 minutes away.
I have 6 briar pipes which include 2 Dr. Grabows, a Molina and 3 pipes from local pipe makers. I also have 6 corn cobs that I have in the rotation.
I have been lurking here learning a lot about this hobby and I want to say thanks for all the information that you all have inadvertently provided me.
Here are some pics of the pipes I currently have.
This one is a poker/cherrywood sitter made at the Bellezia Tobacco Shop in Clarence NY

Really like the Cherrywood and Brian Kalnitz pipe. Welcome from another native New Yorker, although I live in California now. Originally from Saratoga Springs.

Weezell, thank you!

Herbinedave, thanks. I really like the grain pattern on that one.

Shawn, thanks!

Hobie1dog, Thanks. I should probably get a pic of my ugly mug up there someday I suppose.

Tjameson, Thank you. The Kalnitz was my first briar. You always remember your first briar right?... Nice to see that someone got out of this state ok.

Fshu2, Thanks. Nice to meet you too.

Hawk, thanks man.

:worship: Impressive collection.

Welcome to the Forums.

Don't feel bad about "Lurking"... There are thousands that do.

I'll bet they have some great questions.

I really like the poker.

:puffy:

Smeigs, thanks.

Lawrence, thanks. The forum answered so many questions before I signed up.

Flyfishn, thank you. I do believe it. You stated you have a lot of his pipes in your collection. Not much of an artist. I do build scale models though. Hence the paintbrushes. I will post a pic when I complete my next project.

Ejames, thank you sir!

Thanks Photoman13. Much appreciated. I dig the rustication of the molina. The bowl works good for latakia blends.

Photoman13, the swirl stem sealed the deal on that one!

Gnatjulio, thanks!

PApipeguy, Thanks. The poker is one of my favorites too.
