I just bought my first unfinished/vergin briar, and as I wait for the mailman to deliver it--I would love to see how yours have faired over time. Please mention if you've treated it with any nose oil, wax, etc.

Dang, that's coming along nicely. It looks like even though it was unfinished/unstained, it may have had a clear coat applied? That's how it appears in the Before pic.

Thank you, she is dedicated to LTF and LNF stacked and twisted together. I just accidentally discovered that when I smoke those in this pipe, it becomes magically delicious. And, I've smoked a hell of a lot of them in her.

Savinelli Unfinished 320, bulldog/ rhodesian and a Ghibli One pic shows when I first got the 320, the second shows after some seasoning. I really like unfinished pipes.

Castello Shape 55 Natural Vergin KKKK - bought new 3yrs ago

Savinelli Punto Oro Corallo di Mare 413 - bought as an estate about 4yrs ago, but I soaked it in Everclear to bring it back to its natural state; so all of the patina is from me.

Savinelli Punto Oro Corallo di Mare 904 - bought as an estate 2yrs ago; same as above; soaked in Everclear so all the patina is from me.

Scott Thile Natural Sanblast Freehand Dublin #447 - Scott made this for me earlier this year; just a magnificent pipe; the stem is Cumberland and has a thick slice of ebony near the shank end.

I love Natural finished pipes and plan on getting more.

A couple of unvarnished Savinelli Series llls and a Morgan Bones. Very reasonable pipes and a pleasure to smoke. Only treatment on these were hand oils and natural smoking process. ?️
