And then there are some blends that are so delicious, I'm afraid I do that, too. And it's worse, I find, when the pipe has a serious curvature to the shank and stem. Therefore, straight-stemmed pipes for me when smoking those blends.

I did the opposite and got some bent pipes to use as an inverted trap, lol, seems to work.
