I have two pipes in the cross hairs that I just love the look of Harris, one is a Brigham President Series which has an uncoated bowl, it might be perfect for smoking VA Flakes in. I'll test that theory with my favourite flake SG's Best Brown Flake, thanks again for yet more great advice.
The other is a Peterson (not sure why but I just want to own one) and since I believe it would be considered one of their better grade pipes I think the quality issues should be less. They have coated bowls and I don't think the shape lends itself to flakes necessarily, I'm thinking I'll dedicate this pipe to English blends.
After these two pipes I plan on commissioning a Rad Davis in some type of Dublin shape, whether straight or bent I can't decide. Of course that will be uncoated and again used for VA's or VAPers
