Two Year Anniversary today.

Been married two years today. :crazy: I think we are going to have some friends watch the boy so we can go to an Italian restaurant in town tonight. Thinking about splurging and getting a bottle of champagne.

Don't get champagne if your in an italian restaurant. Go with Asti Spumante (the italian champagne). The best one in my opinion is Asti Cinzano. It's a rather sweet sparkling wine which goes down just as easily with a light salad as it does with pasta and meatballs in a hearty red sauce. It could even work as an after-dinner drink. If they don't have it though, Martini and Rossi make a nice somewhat dry Asti Spumante.

Asti is good but it is pretty sweet, I do it with the better half, she doesn't like dry wines.

If you like something drier try a Prosecco, Italian sparking dry white..

We had a nice, even if it was a bit expensive, dinner and some kind of layered peach drink I forgot the name of. It was a little to sweet for my tastes, but the ole lady liked it. Thank you everyone for the good wishes!
