I doubt the bowl will ever get hot enough to be an issue for concern—I was more worried about seeing the paint in the chamber and Lianza inhaling burning plastic. It will be interesting to see if heat and moisture end up bubbling the paint, though.

And alcohol based leather dye is? Water based acrylic paint is probably safer on a pipe than what a briar is normally stained with.
