So - I decided to take a chance with the wind, and went out to smoke a bowl of Black House in my Great Dane cob. It went perfectly, aside from a little tongue bite from puffing too quickly. I could detect some of the subtle flavor changes as the bowl burned down (the shift at the final 1/4 was distinctive), and to my astonishment, I didn't even need to relight!
To cap it all off, while I was enjoying myself immensely, the kind fellow from UPS showed up and handed me an envelope containing my free sample of Paladin Black Cherry. It's a good day. ::
So, I'm sold. Chalk up another Black Blood - I'm buying more jars this weekend, and I'll be sure to keep the Black House jar stocked up.

I think Black House is great stuff. Frog Morton On the Bayou is another great blend, second in line to Black House, but still pretty darn good. Maltese Falcon is pretty good too, but I'm going to reserve my opinion of that one until I have had a few more bowls.

I keep hearing good things about McClelland's Frog Morton line - they're definitely on the "must try this" list. I've got samples of H&H Daybreak, Victorian Stroll, and House of Lords, and I've enjoyed all three so far.

Hope you like cherry cough syrup! LOL! Seriously, I really do hope you like the Paladin. It's no secret I am a big fan of OTCs, but Paladin... no sir!! Yuck! :x Even tried to save it by blending it, just to get thru it... tossed it all out! So I hope you like it. I'd hate to see your good day go bad!

LOL, Wildcat - I once grossed out a bartender by ordering a shot of cherry brandy and then pounding it (I had a bit of a cough and a sore throat, and the bar was closer than the drugstore...). I think I'll be okay. :D
