Turning down the nicotine dial

N tolerance constantly varies for me and I think it always has to do with my health and state of my body. When I am healthy and active I will smoke multiple bowls of five brothers a day. Now I am recovering from winter and not in the best shape I just found myself getting a slight hint of the n spins from a small bowl in my Ropp of Haunted Bookshop.

Rustica is the only thing that gives me the spins. I have to smoke it on an empty stomach to achieve that.

I’ve found the opposite. I feel nothing and miss the euphoria.

Yup, same here. I’ll feel a little buzz when smoking a GH rope or Irish Flake but for the rest I don’t catch anything anymore and I’m nearing 50.

Have you started taking any new medicines?

No. Good question though. I’m more sensitive to alcohol too. Only takes a coupla beers to get buzzed anymore.

- ADULTERATE with lower nic blends
- go slower and take breaks.

Maybe you could try smoking those high nic blends in a Magic Inch pipe. They dilute the smoke by allowing some additional air in through the stem.

Same here. I just smoked six bowls of Happy Brown Bogie back to back working on the cars and nothing. I don't smoke cigarettes anymore, but I used to smoke Marlboro reds while dipping Copenhagen. Am I addicted to nicotine, you betcha.

Well your body goes through a complete new you every 7 years. Things you were allergic to now, in 7 years you may not be allergic to. I was allergic to cats but now I’m not and I had no dealings with them to build up a tolerance.

Not sure if that factors into Nic tolerance, but maybe? Worth a google.

Or lungs have been conditioned to have more of a tolerance to absorb nic. All sorts of potential of factors here that I don’t have the time to research

No, Adam and Jamie did not prove it wrong, so still a truth until I change my mind about it.

I don't think I'm particularly sensitive to nicotine, but I actively gravitate towards low nicotine blends with mostly Oriental/latakia. I do get the wobble legs occasionally with a cigar.
