Don't own one but I always thought Tsuge were out of my price range. These are some great looking bamboo pipes at what I think is a very reasonable price! I know Tsuge has a good reputation among many forum members here. Thanks for the link as I would've never thought to search for them!
I also thought they were way out of my price range, I always thought Neerup was the only one making bad ass pipes for a reasonable price.
Tsuge pipes are great quality. They're celebrating 80 years of business this year, I believe. I personally don't care for the look of bamboo pipes but that's not what you were asking. 
Nice looking pipe. At first glance the chamber wall didn't look thick enough to suit me;
but that pipe is deceptively large, and the wall thickness is a generous 0.325".
It should be a fine smoker -- and at only 1.31 oz. it should be really comfortable.

4etecjonathan: I don't know what else falls into your category of Jap Crap, as Made in Japan is usually synonymous with top quality, at least for me, but the fact is I was not impressed at all with the pipe. The bamboo sure looks nice but that's about it. It does not smoke well and it feels like low quality briar. Perhaps their higher grade pipes are better. It's no more Tsuge for me.
I got myself one of those little Tsuge Mizki sandblasts back when SmokingPipes were selling them for a bargain at $80.
The stem tasted horrible, but the pipe smoked okay.
I sold it a few months later.
It was a 942 shape,
like this:
A shape which incidentally, was a direct take-off from the Eltang designed
Stanwell shape 181:
Same size and everything,
I owned a Stanwell 181 also so comparison was easy.
I'm attracted to quite a few of the high-end Tsuge shapes, but they are way overpriced,
and I desire the blasts and Tsuge is mediocre at blasting and they have a habit of using that boring shoe-polish black stain for all their blasts,
on an $800 pipe?
