I know I've been singing the praises of Tsuge pipes quite a bit recently but my goodness is it a supreme pipe. I've been breaking in my little Dublin with Escudo. I just finished smoking my last bit of the tin and it smoked clear to the bottom with no relights, no gurgle, nothing left in the bowl but white ash, and beautiful flavor the whole way down. It's everything I could ask for in a pipe beautiful, well made, damn tasty, and a seriously fine value. If something better out there exists I want to know how! This isn't to say that I won't own an artisan pipe or high end machine made someday, but before I do I will probably add several more of these little gems to my collection.

I agree Roth, but I'm not sure I mind them being overlooked haha I'd like another Mizki but with the sandblast finish and one of the pot shapes. I hope Smoking Pipes can keep them in stock long enough for me to swoop a few more up at the current price.

Great video! I love my Tsuge - it was my first brand new pipe, and one of my favorites.

I've got a Tsuge bent bulldog very similar to cynyr and I love the thing. Smoked great from day 1 and it's my favorite pipe. Plus you can't beat the price over 50% off on smokingpipes.com
I've been keeping my eye out for more Tsuge shapes. I'd like a bent Dublin.
Great video I want to see more. he he

Now you've done it! I'm gonna have to go over to SPC and take a look at these pipes.

The bowl coating didn't effect the smoke at all even from the first bowl. I kind of wish I had removed it just because I haven't had a bare wood bowl yet but it smokes so well now I don't think it's necessary.

Roth I use a special sandpaper machinists use for polishing shafts called skirf cut , it is aggressive, I sand it, blow it out, Q-tip with evercler, then I can see if I need to sand some more, if not I wipe the inside with everclear, I do not wait for the alcohol to dissapiate, I flame it out, Viola a clean bowl, as it should have been in the first place.
