I picked up 8 tins of Tsuge in 2017, all the seasons and the gods series. I have not been impressed. Some blah, some decent, but none really wonderful. I saw the last two tins in the cellar, digging through. Well, it being spring, I cracked the First Days of Spring. I threw it in my bag and smoked it this morning on the way to work. Anyone else think Peterson University Flake? This has that plum, fruit loops tin note. It is far less subtle than University, which I have been smoking here recently. If anything, it improves through the bowl and was really catching my attention when I pulled in. Was tempted to take a walk and skip my first meeting. I am actually looking forward to more of this tin.

First aromatic I have enjoyed? Could there be others that are good?

I do think technique has improved. Hour drive allows patience and slow, steady cadence. I really do not like the base flavor in so many aromatics, there is this common underlying ugh for me. But I started a different journey with Bob's Chocolate flake and Bosun Cut plug, learning I enjoy the slight lakeland essence at times, particularly morning. University flake was the first fruit flavor I enjoyed. And this has a touch more. I need a solid tobacco base (strength, body and flavor) to really enjoy it. Keep the cavendish and the PG....
