I'm not telling anybody to eat pepperoni pizza but truth is about pepperoni pizza is if the pepperoni isn't cooked before the pepperoni is cooked on the pizza it's an oily miscalculation.
I believe pepperoni is like salami, it is a cured meat, so not cooked, but preserved through other means, mainly salts.Never thought about it before. Are they really uncooked? I know they are dried. Isn't that sort of like being prepared for eating, therefore sort of like cooking?
Unless money is tight. Then your pepperoni pizza has cubes of pepperoni on it!Gotta get the slices to ‘cup’. Then it’s perfect.
Mushrooms, yes. Pepperoni, no. Anchovies, put on after the pizza is baked.Who pre-cooks their pepperoni before putting it on a pizza?
I hear ya. The kids and I do pizza most Friday’s. Every now and then we’ll order in, but it’s usually frozen. Red Baron is our go to! (Unless Screamin’ Sicilian is on sale!)My Red Baron just goes in the oven. Have champagne tastes on a beer budget.
Or you could live the high life with one of my favs:Unless money is tight. Then your pepperoni pizza has cubes of pepperoni on it!
And it's on snobby flatbread! Not all pepperoni is created equal. Nor with equal amount of oil potentially released by heating.
Of course these days in snobbier pizzerias that wouldn't dream of topping pizzas with "pepperoni", they offer spicey "soppresata"--which is a lot like pepperoni, only more expensive.
I take omeprazole (blue/clear capsule) every day....but not sure why. Could be because I lost a load of blood a couple of years agoIt all starts with a nice Omeprazolè or a fruity finish Pepcid AC.
Cured? What was it sick with?I believe pepperoni is like salami, it is a cured meat, so not cooked, but preserved through other means, mainly salts.
