In this edition of Trustworthy Tobacco Review Co: Tobacco Reviews, we'll be taking a look at EVERY SINGLE BLEND by Gawith and Hoggarth. When you don't have to actually purchase and smoke the tobacco to review it, your output can be quite prolific.

Now, let's dive straight in to the tin art.

Very plain green and white label and sometimes, some sort of building back there. The name of the blend in white letters.

This packaging reminds me of the Kool Non-Filters my great grandmother used to smoke in between her spoonfuls of Red Seal Snuff.

We're just going to assume that every Gawith and Hoggarth Blend starts with a base of menthol tobacco. Whatever name is on the tin is whatever sauce they soak it in. Bob's Chocolate Flake, menthol soaked in chocolate syrup. Rum Flake, menthol soaked in rum. Ennerdale Flake, menthol soaked in essence of Ennerdale. You get the idea. Broken Scotch Cake is a bit of a puzzler. Sounds a lot like something that was broken and then repaired with Scotch Tape. Because I've been wrapping a lot of presents of late, I've very familiar with the aroma of Scotch Tape. I can already imagine menthol scented Scotch Tape from Gawith and Hoggarth.

4 star blends for lovers of Newport or Kool cigarettes with a twist.

Disclaimer: If any of your favorite blends were insulted in this review, Trustworthy Tobacco Review Co. does not make mistakes and your preferences may be questionable.

I got started by stealing Kool Super Long's from my mom at age 13. I don't ever remember unfiltered Kools, though.

I fixed the image for you, though!

They were rough. Not as rough as the time I thought Red Seal had to be just as good as Redman. I grabbed a spoonful, pulled open my lip dumped it in and then breathed every last granule into my lungs. Definitely threw up ?

I always thought GH and Co blends were some of the best out there. How wrong I was!

Thank you for setting me right. I was clearly headed down a very, very dark, menthol soaked path.

It also makes me wonder if Bosun Cut Plug is just menthol flavored tobacco that has been soaked in Boson particles.

I haven't smoked as many G&H blends as the OP. I have smoked Dark Flake Scented, Black Irish X, and Brown Twist Sliced, and detected 0 menthol in any of them. I find this unusual, because menthol typically has a pretty strong presence.
Btw, forget Kools and Newports. If you want menthol, get yourself a pack of American Spirits in the dark green box.
(I've been known to smoke a menthol cigarette on certain occasions that involve, shall we say, a lack of sobriety.)
