You beat me to both of mine. I've been smoking McCranie's blends for years; I'm going to be opening a 5 year old tin of Red Ribbon tomorrow. I keep a couple of their lat based blends in regular rotation, although I don't smoke a lot of either one.Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint, MI does dozens of blends all their own. The Arrowhead blend is an aromatic I can actually get behind. Their in house pipes smoke like a dream, too. McCrannie's in Charlotte has blends unique to them tinned by McClelland for them. They also have several in house blends. Old Master is a nice, mild burley blend I scooped up when I was there doing a trunkshow last week. Great shop.
I know they say Arrowhead is an aromatic, but all I taste is good tobacco. I've been smoking a lot of it the past 6 months, but starting to slow down on it a bit.
