That’s what we’re all thinking about now.Pix of the neighbor?
I've modified the method so that I can quickly load a pipe. I don't always use it, but when I have problematic tobacco, I do and it seems to improve the quality of the smoke.I was very disappointed in that method. Though also totally down with the fact that it's as close to fool proof as possible.
Yep. Hence the "glass house" being built..That’s what we’re all thinking about now.
Unfortunately no pics……as Rose from the titanic said….”she exists now, only in my memory….”Pix of the neighbor?
Wouldn't that be lions and cougars and mammaries, oh my!I was hoping for “Her mammaries exist now, oh my!”
O not dear old Glenys…..perhaps 50 years ago……@DeerparkDays isn’t your neighbour in her late 70s?
I was wondering if you were smoking mouldy homegrown for a second thereO not dear old Glenys…..perhaps 50 years ago……
The Frank Method is almost bulletproof if not bulletproof. breathing rate is right behind it. After that would be how the initial light is started. Drying can be included in packing.
Judge: why did you rob 10 stores timmy?Give it about 50 years or so, and you'll start to get the hang of it.
I personally don't use methods, but if others find them helpful, that's a good thing.
At its essence, smoking a pipe is really simple, and for me, one of the signs that I'm dealing with a newbie is the added complexities, theories, and "discoveries" that they bang on about. With time, they get over that.
You practice, you experiment, you make some connections, and you get better at it.
I'd say it's a greater number than most of us would estimate.I wonder how many people just taking up the pipe, just take up the pipe, never appearing here or on other sites? Just stuffing, lighting and enjoying a good smoke. Gotta be a few who can figure it out, it's not rocket science. Then, quite possibly, they start to explore blends, pipes, and such, turning to sites such as this to expand their interest.
Millions of people for many decades learned by trial and error, or from watching their dad .I wonder how many people just taking up the pipe, just take up the pipe, never appearing here or on other sites? It's easiest to teach a person how to pack and light a pipe if they know how to build a fire.Skills
Understand the fire triangle. Air. Fuel. Heat.
Simple..
