I like the one you gifted me so well I bought another!I have a Morgan Bones for a travel pipe. Indestructible and a good smoker. Also fits perfectly in my travel pouch.
I agree with both the suggestions for a Falcon! You could even get a meerschaum bowl to cover both bases (I think there's even one for sale on the forum at the mo).A Falcon with a couple of spare bowls would be perfect.. Durable, Easy to clean and smoke several times a day with no issues.
I had one but got rid of it because it crapped all over the furniture.Get a Falcon!
I have had the same experience with Meers. Run a pipe cleaner through the stem, wipe the bowl with a twister paper towel, reload and move on. Personally I think that pipe rotation is a myth invented by people who make and sell pipes, with just a little care any pipe can be smoked all day every day.My experience is that I can smoke the same meer multiple times per day and multiple days in a row with no maintenance other than the occasional pipe cleaner. Briars benefit from more drying time between smokes. A meer with a hard case would make a perfect travel companion.
My thoughts exactly. Great minds think alike. My experience is that I can smoke the same meer multiple times per day and multiple days in a row with no maintenance other than the occasional pipe cleaner.
