Yesterday I got E-mail notice from Tobaccopipes that the Arango balkan supreme is back with limited quantity, I got 5 lbs to cellar. Said it needs time for better taste.

Stokkebye Balkan Supreme is the same blend. Don't think I've ever seen it out of stock at 4noggins. I also enjoy it fresh. Bought 20 pounds of it a few weeks ago myself.

I have not said that but, I have thought that, it may be true. I am trying to let my Balkan Supreme get some age on it. For me, fresh, does not measure up to many other Balkans on the market (e.g. Abingdon, Sutliff Balkan II).

I, also, wish to add that I am perplexed by the posts about this blend’s availability. I have never had difficulty in finding it and I just located it at 5 online retailers (several are our advertisers). PM me if you need sources.
