Many new pipe smokers come to this forum seeking advice on blends, etc. While most of us understand that our favored blends are based on individual preference, I thought it would be a neat idea to gather members' top three preferred blends in each family here in this thread as a reference.

As you read through, please keep in mind; YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary)

4 Noggins - Bald Headed Teacher or Sutliff - Match Revelation, two competing clones of Revelation.

McClelland - any of their red Virginia releases, including the McCrainie's Red Ribbon and Red Flake
Georg Huber - Virginia Golden Flake
Esoterica - Dunbar (when it's a good batch)

Aromatic:
Esoterica Virginia blends - they're basically all aromatics. You like apricot, mango, anise toppings?
HU - Moroccan Bazaar
HU - 5th Anniversary Blend - 2017 or earlier, before the quality took a nosedive.
