..because at the beginning of any big change, trading jumps up when people start dumping stock, causing a temporary jump in pricing. She could serve to create herself a lot of money.
When stocks are dumped, prices go down. At least in our economy, for the most part, at this point in time, to be best of my recollection.

You are correct, (once again, my poor choice in words) in most instances, But there have been times when there have been spikes. I can't imagine there being a massive dump, like everyone would want to stop buying cigarettes, so there will be people who always who will want to have their stock. But, anyways... I just meant to say that someone who regulates an industry, shouldn't have a share in the companies that she regulates.
