I like the OHM silver in my pipe, a nice blend of Virginias and Turkish. There was one for a while that I liked named Organic, but they got called out for using fertilizers, ha ha.
Back in college after a bike ride trip through holland, we all started smoking Drum, which wasn't available here, so we got a pastor that we met there to mail us some after we got home, and a few years later it became available here. They changed their recipe a decade or more ago, made it less sweet and used fire cured which the original didn't have. I have heard that Stokkebye's Amsterdam Shag was the old Drum recipes, very sweet and strong but with a mild taste.
I don't smoke cigarettes anymore, but I find that the pipecut RYO's that I've tried are pretty good pipe tobaccos. They use fresher, more natural tobacco than actual cigarettes use. But, OHM is cheap here, and at like $5 a pound, it makes for a nice pleasant Virginia in the pipe.
Bugler or Kites... I just never got into those. Tasted like cardboard.
