Cosmic, you're out, out of 5, 4 you chose are not flakes. :P
(Smart man, you; I read your comment). :worship:

That was my thinking, smoothsailing. If a coin isn't a flake, which really it is, then is LTF a hybrid? But, coins are coin shaped flakes. Any slice off of a plug, twist, or cake is a flake. Unless we are going to get as picky as to say that slices off of cakes aren't "real" flakes either. But, then that would be getting silly, wouldn't it?

I just like lists.
1. Rattray's - Stirling Flake

2. Peterson - Irish Flake

3. Samuel Gawith - 1792 Flake

4. Orlik - Golden Sliced

5. Dunhill - Flake
The last two aren't really favorites so much as what I think are good tobaccos, even if I'm not particularly into sippin' sweet Virginia and watching the world burn, etc.

Cosmic:

Yeh, I see no point in telling everyone my whole list of flakes that I am still cellaring. I remember when I first joined and sang the praises of a certain flake, and everyone jumped in and sang it's praises also, and then it took me months to catch it back in stock somewhere.
I'll just say that my list is constantly shifting and changing.
In the Radio Show a few weeks ago Bob from Samuel Gawith stated that they have much increased capacity now (after moving back in with Gawith Hoggarth), so pretty much everyone should be able to cellar all the Full Virginia Flake, St. James Flake and Balkan Flake they want.

I'm all in on Virginias right now.
1) Aylesbury luxury flake

2) capstan gold

3) F&T CVP

4) Wessex Brigade Campaign

5) capstan blue
Stonehaven has just never wowed me. I keep trying to enjoy it but it never lives up to the hype in my book. I got caught up and have 4 bags worth that I may be trading/selling off at some point. Going to wait another year or so and see if the age helps....much of it is already two years aged now.

1) Stonehaven

1) JALF

2) Solanie

3) Dunhill

4) St. James
My opinions don't carry much weight at this point as I've still got an awful lot of flake to smoke my way through. I'm quite curious about the new MB Virginia. I haven't even tried Dunhill flake yet for the love of God!! So flakey, so little time!
